Largely a collection of personal stories, anecdotes, testimony, and narratives, with some historical vignettes interwoven providing some history and context to this "profession." An already fascinating topic is brought alive with the quality of writing displayed by both the subjects and the editor, who truly does the terms wit and erudition justice! Heartily recommended!
