ITEM OVERVIEW
The world seems to be heading hell bound on the crazy at the moment. Rovics has hitched along for the ride, and understandably, is rather enraged at the current situation. While the beauty, pathos and poignancy of his lyrics remain, what shines through on this disc is the slamming fury, directed with all the venom of CRASS, against numerous well-deserved targets. He's joined by a full band, and it really works. Not since the glory days of Fairport Convention has folk-rock sounded this full, rounded,and downright vital. I suspect this might be his finest offering to date. As an added bonus (and audio/visual treat) it comes with a bonus DVD, featuring an hours worth of Rovics doing what he does best, live.
